The individual skills of the employees in our team make up our collective potential. Improving processes, communicating, and securing a prosperous future are some of the reasons why Techcon invests in its team.
The Techcon team is composed of Macedonian and Swedish offices. Our office in Macedonia is located in Veles and has been operating for 3 years. We have multiple departments in Veles: purchasing department, engineering, project management, and marketing.
James Nahani, our operation director visited our office with his wife and son which positively contributed to the family feeling that Techcon has. In our one team-buildingexercise we manage to cover a range of areas including how each team member contributes to the overall success of Techcon.
The focus of the organized teambuilding was on the connection and communication of the two teams. This requires extra effort and fully contributes to both, the Macedonian and Swedish teams at the same time.
Through our work and the results of the completed projects, we gained information that welack communication in our daily goals. Poor communication contributed to misunderstandings and untimely performance of our goals. Duringthe team building, we had fun and at the same time, we focused on our mutual communication.
Our team continues to expand and because of that, we needed to reiterate what our goals as a company are, what we are striving for, and what we want to achieve. Continue to do our best in fulfilling our responsibilities for what our work is valued, and our opinion is important to everyone in our company. The good team and the improved internal communication will help us in the external communication with our suppliers and buyers. Still, success begins with good communication.
The party was also part of our one-day team building. We had a few short communication games in which we all participated. One of the games wasabout how communication can go wrong. However, the vision of our company is ¬ “Have fun & deliver great machines to our customers”.
Teambuilding has helped us strengthen our team self-confidence, increase motivation, greater respect for each other, establish a tradition, accept responsibility, strengthen teamwork, increase productivity, and achieve successful results.
